La construction récente d'une seconde briqueterie dans une zone industrielle située au nord de la ville de Tlemcen (Algérie), à nécessité la réalisation d'un bâtiment administratif répondant aux exigences de confort et de management du personnel administratif, commercial et technique d'une usine de nouvelle génération.
Le bâtiment situé près d'un oued et réhaussé d’1m, « profite » du paysage méditerranéen dans lequel il s'insère, tout en étant proche des unités de production et de la carrière d'argile.
Sa volumétrie est très compacte et la treille qui le protège du rayonnement thermique reprend le dessin nervuré du four dans lequel sont cuits les briques.
Il est conçu comme une "brique" posée parallèlement à l'usine. La structure de base est réalisée en béton armée avec un ensemble de poutres retroussée de 10,40m de portée et des dalles de toiture suspendues permettant ainsi une grande flexibilité d'aménagement et de transformations ultérieures. la terre cuite est utilisée ici, comme brique pillée (chamotte) pour réaliser les cheminements, ainsi que pour construire les parois acoustiques de certaines pièces du bâtiment.

🇬🇧 The recent construction of a second brickyard in an industrial area north of the city of Tlemcen (Algeria), requires the construction of an administrative building meeting the requirements of comfort and management of administrative, commercial and technical personnel, a new generation plant.
The building located near a wadi and raised by 1m, "takes advantage" of the Mediterranean landscape in which it is inserted, while being close to the production units and the clay quarry. Its volumetry is very compact and the trellis which protects it from thermal radiation resumes the ribbed design of the oven in which the bricks are fired.
It is designed as a "brick" laid parallel to the factory. The basic structure is made of reinforced concrete with a set of rolled beams of 10.40m span and suspended roof slabs allowing great flexibility of development and subsequent transformations.
Terracotta is used here, as clay brick to make the pathways, as well as to build the acoustic walls of some parts of the building.
